2014 tournament of roses parade
dogs were featured on several floats in this year's rose parade but the two that stood out to me were the beverly hills pet care foundation & the lucy pet foundation. the pet care foundation is "dedicated to the rescue, care, spay/neuter and adoption of homeless pets" and "the goal of the lucy pet foundation is to have spay/neuter and adoption mobile clinics in every major city in the country." all the dogs that were featured on lucy's float were all shelter dogs. they were all performing tricks and having the time of their lives! also on lucy's float was daniel, the miracle beagle mix that was put into an alabama gas chamber along with 17 other dogs, and somehow survived! can you believe the barbaric gas chamber is still legal in 31 of our united states?!?
