{this moment} see beautiful: it's all in the details

nature is full of the details that make life beautiful. we are so busy in our everyday lives that sometimes we forget to notice the details that mother nature has so graciously laid before us. i hope you enjoy some of the details i have found in my own backyard.

a rose is a rose is a rose? not in this case. this rose bloomed with angel wings! do you see them? it's my special angel rose. beautiful.

free food: i just bought a new hummingbird feeder and this little guy is the first one to take advantage of my all you can drink "juice bar". sorry he's so dark but i was in my patio shooting towards the light. i tried to lighten it a little but the hummingbird is still just a shadow. oh well, you get the idea. beautiful.

nature's diamonds: the dew on this shamrock look like sparkly diamonds. beautiful.

chihuahua bailey: my precious little funny face. beautiful.

yesterday was so beautiful, i thought it would be the perfect time to get some outdoor photos of bailey.

"how do i look?"

mr sandman must have been hiding in the bushes because in a matter of moments, little bailey was whisked off to dreamland.

"no, i'm not sleepy. just let me know when ... you're ... ready to ... Zzzzz"

oh well, maybe next time.

visiting the home improvement centers is always fun ... and a bit dangerous because we are avid DIYers ... plus it's one of the few places that is dog friendly.

bailey is helping me decide on a paint color for an accent wall in my kitchen. (btw, i went with behr's carrot stick, BAM)

"ok, full steam ahead. there's work to do at home."
