can you believe it's been 2 years since bailey's fall? it feels like a lifetime ago and yet it feels like yesterday. her week in icu, not knowing if she was going to pull through, the possibility of brain damage. this was almost more than i could bear. it was one of the worst times of my life and the weeks and weeks that followed weren't much better.
bailey's come a long way since her accident. she's not 100% but she's pretty darn close. she has a couple of lingering issues that she'll probably have to live with. she gets small seizures, which only last for a moment, and she has some problems with her balance, so i get a lot of pictures of her looking a little tipsy (like the one below).
however, when bailey gets going, she does very well. balance is a funny thing. if she's moving slowly, she loses balance and the quicker she goes, the better her balance is. take a look at this!
life is precious and you never know what tomorrow will bring. hold your furbabies close and give them a kiss for me.
until we meet again my friends-
