{52 snapshots of life} #labor

for this week's photo challenge, we are doing things a little different.

i know the 52 snapshots of life is a photo challenge, but there is a song by lee brice, that pays homage to the blue collar workers of our country. the video shows truck drivers, factory workers, farmers... the working class that rarely get the respect they deserve. i think it's the perfect song to represent labor. i hope you enjoy it.

thanks to the lazy pitbull for hosting 52 snapshots of life blog hop.

until we meet again my friends-

  1. it is sad but true - people always talk about the mover and shakers and big money makers of the world but even they wouldn't get anywhere without the help of all the every day heroes of the world who go about doing their thing un-noticed - the guys and gals making and serving meals at restaurants, driving taxis and trucks, working in factories making all the the items we use everyday ir the farmers who provide us with the food we all need

  2. Some of us do work like dogs to make ends meat while others just sit back and count their green papers.

  4. America was and is built on hard work. Great song for talking about labor. I'm listening hard to what the presidential candidates have to say about how they're going to make wages and work conditions better for those who are keeping us great. Because they aren't being treated great in return and it's a crying shame. There's a reason people fought and even died to win the right to unionize and have collective bargaining. It's an outrage to see what is happening to working people in certain states.
