so the results of bailey's poop test came back negative. yay! so what was the problem? good question. we don't really know. doc said she might have eaten something she shouldn't have but, no, that's not possible. i know everything that goes into her tummy. another possibility is that she stepped on something then licked her paw. ok, that one is possible. we take her just about everywhere and she does walk on the ground (well, usually. BOL). so the $517.00 lesson we learned (that was the total vet bill) is to always wipe her little paws off when coming in from a walk.
her poops are not quite what they should be yet. actually, there is no poop at all, so doc said to stop the centrine (the medicine to firm her poop). first it's too many poops, now it's no poop! ugh.
but look, the sparkle in her eyes has returned, and she is back to wearing silly hats and being her adorable self. what a relief! our home was topsy turvy with bailey under the weather. not knowing what was wrong and waiting for test results was absolute torture.
UPDATE: bailey pooped and all's right with the world. BOL
until we meet again my friends-
