how does she breathe?

sometimes bailey sleeps with her nose smooshed into the sofa. she seems quite comfortable but how can she breathe like that? BOL

shopping and making new friends

we usually carry bailey while shopping, but sometimes she gets to ride in the shopping cart. we line the bottom of the cart with her blankies, because, you know, she's a princess.

plus, it makes it a lot easier to meet and greet the other doggies that are also shopping.

we, at casa chihuahua, are very excited for 2018. bailey has made so much progress in the last few months, we can't wait to see what this new year will bring. she has been more present and is more alert and engaged. she used to be kind of like a flashlight with weak batteries, just a little dim. but now, it's like we just changed the batteries, because she's brighter and stronger. bailey 2.0 is awesome. yay bailey!

daughter #2 was supposed to fly back to new york today but with the weather conditions on the east coast, she decided to extend her visit by a couple of days. hopefully winter storm grayson will have moved on by then.

poor bee will just have to endure our california weather for a couple more days. (sorry, not sorry.)

UPDATE: mayor de blasio just declared a winter weather emergency in new york and jfk & la guardia have suspended flights due to weather conditions. praying this will end soon. stay safe.
