zuke's z-bones

bailey loves zuke's z-bones. even though we buy their smallest size (mini for dogs 5-25 lbs) 4 pound bailey still has one problem with them. she doesn't have the jaw strength to chew them. sooo...

i cut them up for her. no, she doesn't have me wrapped around her little finger paw. she really can't bite hard enough to eat them. she will just sit with it and lick it. she will attempt to bite it but she just gets frustrated and starts to nervously carry it around. oh and by the way, it's not only bones. i also cut up her cookies and her kibble! are there any other little doggies out there that can't chew a bone or break a cookie?

while bailey was modeling her new floral fling harness for kibbles place (shameless plug), she took it upon herself to expose how i get her to make those big marble eyes...

yep, zuke's minis is one of my secret weapons. they are moist miniature treats that she's crazy for.

bailey looks forward to the ups delivery when it comes with her name on the box. this was our latest delivery. and as bailey sits patiently, she wonders how much longer she'll have to wait until i open a package for her.

don't worry, it's not all for her. aoife gets half of the goodies.

zuke's z-bones

here is an example of what we have to do so bailey can enjoy a bone, like a somewhat normal dog. she loves zuke's clean carrot crunch z-bones. i buy the mini, which is made for 5-25 pound dogs, but my 4 pound bailey doesn't have the jaw strength to eat it on her own, so...

i cut it up for her. this makes her a very happy little doggie :)
