product review: the honest kitchen wishes dehydrated pure iceland haddock fillets

our latest product for review from chewy was the honest kitchen wishes dehydrated pure iceland haddock fillets dog & cat treats.

"ooh, a box from chewy!"

"i can already taste the yumminess."

"what is it? i can't read!"

"haddock? i'm ready for the taste test!"

"please mommy, i want some more."

"our haddock is caught in the cold, pristine waters off the coast of iceland using a hook and line, not trawlers, to reduce impact on the ocean's delicate eco-system."

ingredients: dehydrated haddock
i love single ingredient treats for bailey and she loved the taste. they come in large pieces that are easy to break and easy for her to chew. these are treats that i can feel good about giving her - and aoife.

product review: halo liv-a-littles grain-free 100% wild salmon freeze-dried treats

this month, we chose to review halo liv-a-littles grain-free 100% wild salmon freeze-dried treats. bailey was intrigued by them even before i opened the container.

they totally passed the sniff test.

there aren't many treats that i don't have to break up into pea size pieces for bailey but this one, since it's freeze-dried, made it very easy for her to chew. you can give it to your dog, or cat, straight from the container or crumble it on their dinner as a meal time treat.

this is her 'can i have more?' face.

ingredients: salmon
bailey loved these single ingredient treats and i will most definitely purchase them in the future.

product review: revel from the honest kitchen

a couple of weeks ago i was contacted by the honest kitchen to see if bailey was interested in trying out revel, their new dehydrated whole grain chicken dog food. we had never tried dehydrated food before, so we gave it a try.

for her taste test i gave her a bowl as pictured to see if she would snub it or eat it. it passed the sniff test and as you can see, it also passed the taste test. i have been adding some to her regular diet ever since.

to hydrate, you just measure out the dry food, add water and poof! instant dinner. it is made with dehydrated wholesome ingredients like free-range chicken, organic barley, organic kelp, green peas, carrots and bananas.
it contains no corn, wheat, soy or gmo ingredients.

product review: blue buffalo blue bones dental chews

february is national pet dental health month so this month's product review is of blue buffalo blue bones dental chews.

these are some of the reasons i like it:

• cleans teeth and freshens doggy bad-breath
• vegetarian-friendly treat
• glucosamine and chondroitin promotes good joint health
• calcium from alfalfa helps build strong bones
• no corn, wheat or soy
• easily digestible
• made in the USA

i ordered the mini bones, which is recommended for dogs 5-15 pounds, but it is also available in small, regular and large sizes. as you can see, aoife ate it in just over a minute. maybe i should have ordered her a larger size! BOL. it was very easy to cut into small bite size pieces for bailey, who by the way, also enjoyed it.

product review: blue buffalo wilderness trail treats salmon wild bites

what has got bailey's attention?

salmon wild bites.

every time we go out, i always have a bag of treats in bailey's doggie bag. if she gets a little fidgety in the store, i can always calm her down with a little nibble or two. then when we get back to the car, she gets another nibble.

salmon wild bites are soft and easy for bailey to chew. she likes them so much, she didn't even wait for me to cut it up for her! when this package is gone, i'm definitely gonna buy more.

"mmm, salmony"
