product review: primal jerky organic chicken nibs

this month we chose to review primal jerky organic chicken nibs dog & cat treats. the ingredient list is short and sweet: organic chicken, organic honey & sea salt.

as you can see, bailey thinks these treats are delicious. they are tiny enough that i don't have to cut them for her and they are chewy so they are easy for her to chew!

since there are no preservatives, the package recommends storing the package in the refrigerator. there it will stay fresh 14 days. if you leave it in a cabinet or on your counter, it should be fed within 3 days. either way, it's not much time. there is no way bailey would be able to finish the package in 2 weeks on her own. luckily we will have aoife & bee here for the holidays. i think between the 3 girls, they should almost finish the package in the recommended 14 days. i would love to buy these for bailey but the 4oz package is too big for her. i wish they made a smaller size for the tiny breed dogs. maybe instead of 4oz all in one package, separate it into four 1oz packages. that would work for us.

"i love this stuff!"

in a nutshell:
made with certified organic chicken raised in the united states
no antibiotics or added hormones
single source protein
no preservatives, grain or gluten

btw: chewy.com provided us with the package of treats in exchange for our honest opinion of the product. the opinion stated in this review was written by me and was not copy supplied by primal or chewy.

product review: primal buffalo liver chunks dry roasted dog treats

a box from chewy = product review.

"i love review days! what did we get?"

this month's review is for primal buffalo liver chunks dry roasted dog treats.

"if i make a cute face, will i get to the taste test sooner?"

again, as with most treats we buy, they are too big for bailey. they break easily, unless you need them to be super small pieces. that's when i get my little wire cutters and cut them into tiny bits.

"maybe i can steal one before she sees me!"

well the taste test didn't last very long. bailey devoured all the little bits ...

"nom, nom!!!"

... and was looking for more!

i'd say the taste test was a success.

"more please."

the ingredient list cannot be beat. buffalo liver. that's it. plain and simple.
buffalo that was raised in the USA without antibiotics or added hormones.
they are also gluten & grain free with no added salt or sugar.
