i feel the earth move under my feet

i feel the earth move is a song by carole king and yesterday the earth literally did move under my feet. why? because a 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit southern california. (the biggest we've had in 20 years!) it was centered in the mohave dessert and was felt from chico all the way down to mexico. ya, that’s a biggie. for as big as it was, little bailey did not notice it because she was outside with hubby.

"earthquake? what earthquake?"

as for the fireworks, we had a good night. there were a few surprise pops but bailey made it through like a champ.
