bailey sleeps on my side of the bed, so i’ve always had a guard rail to keep her from falling off. earlier this month, when she fell off the bed, she had crossed over me to be between me and hubby. when he got up to go to work, that left her on the unprotected side of the bed and she fell off. (hubby doesn’t have a guard rail.) to prevent this from ever happening again, bailey gets harnessed, and leashed, every night. then we tether her leash to the shelving next to our bed. she can still move around, she just can’t reach the edge of the bed. it’s better to be safe than sorry.
until we meet again my friends-
Hang in there, little bud. Stay safe.

ReplyDeleteMomma leashed in Whitley when she got crippled.
ReplyDeleteYou have to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Lucky Bailey that has loving parents that know how to take good care of her and protect her from harms way.
