unexpected visitor

when hubby took bailey out for her bedtime business a few nights back, he found this not so little guy just sitting on our fence. bailey didn't see him and he was too busy posing for pictures to care about little bailey. when we came back inside, he continued along on his merry way across our fence.
and this is exactly why bailey never goes outside alone, especially at night.

until we meet again my friends-

  1. How wonderful! Great photo! I don't think it would bother Bailey but they could scare each other for sure. I love these little creatures, they're so sweet. The zoo has a couple (previously injured) that make excellent animal ambassadors.

  2. OMDoodle - that is scary! It looked as big as Bailey.

  3. GAH!!! That little face! I'll be honest, I'd be terrified and worried about the pup but glad yea, maybe a good idea to not let the little one alone at night.

XOXO and hope you have a great week!

  4. Tell Bailey it's OK. Kind of looks like a big hairy rat - harmless. My doggie minion, Bessie, found one of those in her yard one time. Before Dad could point it out to Mom, the doggie had barked it out of the yard. It hasn't been seen again. If she hadn't barked maybe they would've become furr-iends? -Valentine (& Mom) of Noir Kitty Mews

  5. He's pretty but they have a mean scratch, only defending himself I guess. Poor babies, they are looking for food.
