not again! shaking, panting, poor bailey is in a full panic. what has gotten her into such a state?
this is the culprit.
yes, it's the dreaded housefly. whenever one of these gets into the house, it puts bailey into a panic; and it lasts way beyond the death of said creature. we try everything to get her out of it. we try to distract her, we offer her treats, we take her outside, nothing works. she just has to ride it out. any suggestions? it's awful to see her like this.
until we meet again my friends-
it is odd what triggers such panic - we hope she is feeling better now
ReplyDeleteOur Vaks panics when we sneeze. The only thing which can help him is treats and delicious ham slices :)
ReplyDeleteOh Bailey! You should never have watched the movie the Fly. Poor baby. My friends dog was like that with the UPS truck

Oh dear poor little Bailey, have never had a dog that got that way with a fly, with thunder yes. Wonder what she thinks a fly can do? Ask the vet next time you go in for something.
ReplyDeleteWould it help to swaddle her like an infant?
ReplyDeleteOh noes!!! Gurl! I will be right overs! I am the GREAT FLY HUNTER! I am a master! (though, your peeps are probably gonna have to clean the windows after....☺)
ReplyDeleteGosh, I wish I had an answer for the panic attacks. Those really suck. I know it might seem strange, butts have you tried one of those Thundershirts? You might even be able to adjust one of your own sweatshirts to fit like one. They don't work for me, butts they do have some really good results for most doggies.
