deer. we found this group of deer roaming a cemetery up in pacific grove. we didn't see any bucks but there were 3 does and a couple of fawns.
shamrocks. i love shamrocks because each leave is heart-shaped. st patrick used the shamrock to teach christianity, explaining that the three leaves represented the father, the son and the holy spirit.
mushrooms. these little guys just pop up overnight. sometimes i wake up to dozens in my yard as if they were left by visiting fairies. they look so pretty with the morning dew still on the blades of grass.
rocks. nature at it's best. have you ever seen heart-shaped rocks??? i found two in my yard!
and of course my beautiful little bailey. how can you not love this face?

ReplyDeleteI can't but agree. Deer are beautiful!! We occasionally see them around here. But the only time which I actually saw babies--if memory serves me--was during my trip to Texas!! They looked like Bambi!! ;)
I have never seen a shamrock!! Ever!! I would feel almost magical to see some!! ;-D
I love, love, love mushrooms!! And, yes, they do make me think of fairies!! ;)
