sitting pretty

bailey's sit up and beg keeps improving. her balance is so much better, her posture is fab and her eyes are focused on the prize. i'm so proud of my little girl. she's come such a long way.

when i'm eating a blueberry bagel, bailey watches as i take every bite.

"that bagel sure looks tasty. just sayin."

and if i don't give her a taste, she gets quite impatient.

"well aren't you gonna give me a taste?!?"

flashing back to 2016 when bailey and aoife played a game of scrabble.
they were besties, in every sense of the word and did so much together. eef was so good with little bailey and accepted bailey into our family with open arms. as heartbroken as we are over losing aoife, it's also sad for bailey because she lost her bff.

cold weather

this week has been so cold. i think the sun has taken a vacation. weather guy was even talking about snow flurries! with the nighttime temps dipping into the 30's, our fireplace has been working overtime.
