{this moment} see beautiful: it's the little things

i never have to go far to see beautiful. i see it every single day in my own garden. this post is concentrating on the beautiful little things.

like this beautiful little honeybee feasting on my agapanthus,

and this beautiful little ladybug that was wandering in my plum tree,

and this beautiful little mockingbird we found on our front lawn last week!
new life is especially beautiful.

well, bee's 3 week so cal vacation has come to an end. i won't lie, it was work, but it was fun having her here. and i think she had a fun time here too. she's a sweetie pie for sure. just look at that face!

i have been crocheting afghans lately, so i made her one in her bumblebee colors to take back to new york. i know we are currently in a heatwave [106° yesterday], but it's not like she's gonna be wrapped up in it, outside. when she needs it, she'll already have it.
