we visited the old fisherman's wharf in monterey last weekend. there is so much history there. we had a blast.
santa rosalia is the patron saint of the italian fishermen in monterey.

"the fisherman" by jesse corsaut is a tribute to those who made a living from the riches of the sea.
bailey is not really sure what to think about this place. it's nothing like home! "toto, i've a feeling we're not in kansas any more."

What a great place, it reminds me a bit of Whitby. I was actually looking all over the photo before I finally spotted Bailey right in the corner! You should have a Where's Bailey game for her, she is so tiny.
